The National Institute for Materials Science, as being the only national laboratory in materials science in Japan has decided to develop a web-portal, “e-materials.net” which will support and foster research activities. The main functionalities are:
Semantic-associate search as a navigation tool and
Web-communication tools for researchers.
We plan to open the beta version of the web-portal to researchers, and to continue to develop and improve it throughout 2006/2007. |
